Self-Catering tented chalets

The Rupara RestCamp is located in the Wuparo Conservancy, just 3km from the unfenced Nkasa Rupara National Park. This proximity ensures wildlife sightings at any time from your chalet.

The RestCamp features a spacious communal main area, bar, and swimming pool. The communal kitchen is equipped with a braai and gas cookers and a shared fridge-freezer. It caters to both individual clients and large groups.

The self-catering tented chalets come in two types: Standard and Luxury. The main difference lies in the size of the chalet and a few additional details.

Guests can pre-arrange meals and activities such as game drives, walking safaris, and night drives.

  • Do not enter the Chalet area for which you do not have a booking. Respect other guest’s privacy.
  • It is prohibited to collect firewood from the surrounding are or park. Please purchase firewood from the reception office only.

  • Leave your Chalet as you would like to find it, please take the rubbish with you and dispose it in the next town or service station you will encounter.
  • Do not leave foodstuff around your camp or in your room as this will attract the destructive attention of baboons, monkeys and other animals.
  • Please keep noise to a minimum. No music is allowed to be played through speakers anywhere in the RestCamp so as not to disturb other visitors or the wildlife (please use headphones). The use of generators is prohibited.
  • Never block an animal’s path to water or disturb it while drinking.
